When I flew back to California from New York, I had to wait at the airport for hours. I was glad that I brought my gratitude journal with me. Flipping through my gratitude diaries from the past few years, I saw several entries regarding me or my children encountering difficulties. The road seemed to come to an end and the days seemed impossible. But in each instance God always pulled us through the difficulties and let us experience grace upon grace.
