Plant: Camellia japonica ‘Shiba Xueshi’

I saw this Camellia japonica ‘Shiba Xueshi’ at the Huntington Library in early January.  Now looking back at the photos, I feel that the structure of this flower is very delicate and beautiful. Although I only took two photos of Shiba Xueshi, this camellia with the scholar’s stylish name “Eighteen Scholars” should be worth sharing. It is a treasure in camellia.

Words of the Day

Let’s praise the name of God – El Chay, the Living God.

Psalm 84:1-4

Your dwelling place is lovely, O Yahweh Tsebaoth!
My soul longs and yearns
for Yahweh’s courtyards.
My whole body shouts for joy to El Chay.
Even sparrows find a home,
and swallows find a nest for themselves.
There they hatch their young
near your altars, O Yahweh Tsebaoth,
my Melek and my Elohim.
Blessed are those who live in your house.
They are always praising you. Selah

我羨慕渴想耶和華的院宇;
